What did you recently finish?
Sawkill Girls by Claire Legrand - Three strong, independent young women find themselves and battle a monster on a remote island. Sounds like a kick ass story, but it didn't meet that criteria in my opinion. I found the writing to be dull and strange; the similes didn't really click or flow right. This isn't a book I'd recommend. Sawkill Girls on Goodreads. My rating: ★★
